Damn that Andy Roddick!
The second Tuesday in February is always wrought with anticipation regarding who will be the cover girl on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. It’s where I fell in love with Paulina Porizkova and Heidi Klum for the first time. It’s where I realized that every athlete’s wife that is in the swimsuit edition has fake boobies.I received my SI Swimsuit edition in the mail today and while I can get better and more revealing pictures surfing around the internet (not that I ever would do that), I do like the yearly tradition and the publicity behind the Swimsuit Edition.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s girflfriend, Bar Rafaeli, made this year’s cover. Rafaeli is from Israel, and as a Jew, I never saw girls that looked like that in Hebrew School or in my JCC Summer Camps.Although we’d all rather look at pictures, many of these girls do promotional tours. There’s only one question I would want to ask these models, “What does it feel like to know that fifteen year old boys are gratifying themselves to your picture.” But that’s just me.
